A Once in a (Wild-) Lifetime Experience. Where Conservation leaves cherished Memories.
Rescue & Conserve
At Cheetah’s Rock, our goal is to rescue wild animals and contribute to conservation. We work tirelessly to give our animals the health, freedom & happiness they deserve and the perspective of a release into the wild (if possible) whilst inspiring people to make a change!
Great Wildlife Tour

Feel the fur of a cheetah and the breath of lions, feed lemurs, zebra and more! Take amazing photos on this unforgettable tour and join the fight for wildlife!
VIP Otter Experience

These otters might steal your heart (and your towel). They decide if you’re fun enough – and if you are, get ready for splashes, cuddles, and unexpected games. You don’t play with them. They play with you. All fun aside – your visit helps us give them the care they deserve.
The Combined Tour

Two unforgettable experiences – one extraordinary day. Spend the morning with rescued otters in our care, then meet cheetahs, lemurs, zebras and more. This tour is built on ethical encounters – and mutual enrichment: you bring stimulation, joy and variety into the animals’ day, and they leave a mark on yours. Always respectful. Always remarkable.
Some of our Rescues
Every animal here has a story. Some were rescued from neglect, exploitation, or illegal trade. Others were placed here by wildlife authorities or gifted to us by conservation centres that trust in our long-term care. You’ll learn more about their journeys – and why each life matters – during the tour.

Xenia, Puma
Born in a zoo in eastern Europe, they took Xenia away from her mother at the age of 3 weeks. They did not give her any milk and she was designated for the pet trade.
We intervened! She arrived with Hypocalcemia and several fractures. After months of treatment, she now lives a happy, healthy life with us.

Mira, Ronja & Nino, Orphaned Zebras
Rescued in close cooperation with the wildlife authorities, these three zebras share the same past – and now, the same safe future.
At Cheetah’s Rock, they’re settling in well, step by step, together.

Sahara, Lioness
Sahara started her journey as household pet in Europe. Needless to say, lions don’t like city life too much.
Enjoying her lush green enclosure, Sahara has matured into a strong and confident Lioness.

Rescue Rocky, Vervet monkey
Rocky is one of many rescued monkeys in our care at Cheetah’s Rock.
A lot of tourists encounter chained monkeys. Some even purchase them to keep as holiday pets.
After arriving here at Cheetah’s Rock, we discovered that Rocky suffers from epilepsy. Unfortunately, this means he cannot be released into his natural habitat, as he needs special attention and daily medication to ensure he has a safe and enjoyable life.

Beppo, Zebra
Born in a zoo as a surplus animal, Beppo found himself moving between facilities without finding his forever home.
We answered the call to give him just that.
Now Beppo enjoys the company of fellow equines and guests alike, showing off his impressive intellect and gentle nature.

Maurice, Bushbaby
Maurice was dropped by his mother when he was still only a few days old. Our gardener found him and we have raised him into a strong boy by using a tiny syringe to feed him milk.
Now he lives with a group of bushbabies who love nothing more than climbing around on the shoulders of our guests.

Gimmick, Striped Hyena
Meet Gimmick – shy, curious, and full of character. He came to us from a former zoo, where conditions didn’t meet his needs. Since arriving at Cheetah’s Rock, Gimmick has found safety, space, and calm. With each day, his unique personality shines brighter as he gains confidence in his new life.

Mike, Zanzibar Sykes Monkey
Mike’s back where he belongs – in the treetops of Zanzibar. He no longer needs our care, which is exactly the point. But don’t worry – some of his curious cousins are still around to say hello on the tour.

Prada & Gucci, Nile Crocodiles
Once seen as fashion – now finally seen as life. These two were handed over to us by the wildlife authorities after escaping from a local zoo.
Without a safe habitat, they faced dangers no wild creature should – even from traffic. Today, thanks to our visitors, Prada & Gucci enjoy a peaceful home with their own private pool. They’re growing strong and steady – just as they were meant to.
At Cheetah’s Rock, they stand as quiet witnesses of ancient times. And now, finally, they have a future.

Judy, Baboon
Judy was taken from the wild as a baby. Poachers killed her mother, filed down her canine teeth, and sold her into a life of misery. She spent 9 long years chained to a tree, surviving on scraps from a garbage dump. But thanks to you – our visitors – she got a second chance.
Today, Judy is safe, loved, and finally home. She has learned to trust again. Watching her heal and enjoy life is one of the most powerful things we’ve ever witnessed.
